The LOCTITE SF 7200 is designed to remove polymerized chemical flanges by softening their material. Once applied, the product develops a foam layer on the flange material, preventing it from starting to run from the surface. So it continues to work for the required time. Typical applications include the removal of all types of chemical flanges from metal flanges. It is especially suitable for aluminum flanges or other soft metal where scratching can lead to damage to the surface.
