Low speed (up to 1750 rpm) side channel pumps (side channel). It's self-priming, so they do not face any problems from the presence of air in the pipeline. The pump can remove and blow the air, without interrupting the operation. They have a great ability to raise up from a depth of 7m without a foot valve, as in all cases handling liquids containing gases and we need high pressure to 25 bar. We also find application in tank under vacuum (negative pressure). The open type impellers interact with the side channel casing creating an intense transfer of energy to the pumped liquid or liquid / gas mixture. The corresponding pressure increase (pump head) equals 5 to 10 times the amount generated by a similar size centrifugal pump at the same RPM. The use of standard construction, regards only the cases with temperatures up to about 60 oC. For temperatures between 60 and 200 oC we should select types M1 and M2 depending to the pumped liquid, operating hours etc. The sealing can be achieved by packing, teflon or mechanical seal silicon carbite / viton. High-quality components, and careful construction, guarantee long-term trouble-free operation, with constant (always) high efficiency.
